A native of Austin, Texas who specializes in Tricology, the science of hair and scalp. This specialty focuses on restorative care of the hair and scalp.
My passion and gifting is for healthy hair, scalp and total body wellness. After servicing my clients year after year and consistently seeing the same needs and problems amongst them, deposited in my heart was the need for providing quality, full-service hair, scalp and total body care. By taking the time to develop intimate relationships with my clients and truly seeing their needs and desire for their hair, I was able to gain their respect and trust professionally and personally in order to truly care for their hair. That trust has also allowed me to speak into their lives in almost every other area concerning their beauty.
One of the main ways that I do this is by specializing in problem hair—i.e. hair that others have damaged or even hair that no one wants to care for.
Once I am able to diagnose the problem, I start to offer solutions; for example using the correct relaxer for their hair type and texture and even sometimes choosing to grow their relaxer off for a period of time. After we determine what type of service needs to be rendered, I start recommending products and services to help in our transformation towards healthy hair. After which, we set goals for where we would like to go, and what it is going to take to get there. I absolutely love what I do!

Christina Cabuay has been in the industry for 11 years. Her focus was 100% on women hair until she got a hold of a pair of clippers and that is when the game changed and she developed her talent as a barber. This journey has not been easy for Chris. Being a women in the barber world she had to really earn the trust and respect of the male clientele. Chris has also shared her skills over seas catering to military personal. She has been handling men, women and children of all ages for over a decade now. |

Johnston High School with advanced training in cutting, chemicals and color from Dudley's Cosmetology University. She is also a Master Loctician who has been wearing locs herself for nearly seven years. Kim says hair is both a gift and passion. Her strength as a stylist is probably her versatility. Her diverse training and her seventeen years of experience help her offer a variety of styles. This passionate, professional stylist is ready to help you create and maintain your best look.

Phyllis Nelson Carter joined BllinG in December of 2007. Her specialty
is precision cutting. Phyllis vision and attention to detail help her
work with clients to deliver styles that are conservative yet stylish.
With over 20 years in the business, she is considered a Master
Barber/Stylist with experience servicing men, women and children of all
races. She is a graduate of Stevenson Academy's School of Cosmetology
in New Orleans, Louisiana. Asked what she would like Blling's current
and future clients to know, Phyllis didn't hesitate; "I just want people
to know how thankful I am for the strength and talent that God has given
me. Relocating to Austin from New Orleans has been quite an adjustment
for me and my family but life is good. It's great to be able to pursue
my real passion.....hair!"
Phyllis Carter is the proud mother of two daughters, Shameika and
Antineika. She is also a certified Phlebotomist employed at CPL
Laboratories.
